Geo-Mattress® UltraMax™ is a non-powered reactive pressure redistribution support surface for prevention of pressure injuries, early intervention of multiple stage I-II pressure injuries and treatment of a single stage III pressure injury in patients weighing up to 500 pounds. Geo-Mattress® UltraMax™ is indicated for patients who can be positioned off the pressure injury/injuries in at least 2 positions, patients with decreased mobility and patients who frequently reposition by themselves or by a caregiver.

The clinically proven Geo-Matt® anti-shearing surface reduces the risk of pressure injuries with over 800 individually responsive cells that prevent skin shear by allowing the surface to move with the patient during repositioning. Its exclusive Ring-of-Air® channels wick heat and moisture away from the patient better than alternative solid foam or straight-cut foam designs.

To protect this vulnerable anatomy, the Geo-Mattress® UltraMax™ has segmented viscoelastic foam to cradle and protect the heels while Heel Slope®, a subtle tapering of the mattress, redistributes weight and pressure to the more pressure–tolerant lower legs.
Superior Infection Prevention
Geo-Mattress® UltraMax™ utilizes robust infection control and prevention features for maximal durability and long-term effect. Such features include a moisture vapor barrier; a bacteriostatically treated cover made from antimicrobial, polycarbonate-fortified, cleanable LifeSPAN® fabric; and a 3-sided, flapped zipper. The Geo-Mattress® UltraMax™ can be wiped clean with standard hospital-grade cleaners while the LifeSPAN® fabric is bleach-resistant.
